50 thousand visitors at the exhibition of Italian artists in Beijing

The exhibition "Beyond the Mirror," which opened on December 15, 2025, at the Guardian Art Center in Beijing, closed on March 13. Featuring 11 Italian figurative painters, the exhibition attracted 29,000 visitors in its first month alone, with total attendance reaching approximately over 50,000 by its close. The exhibited artists were: Andrea Chiesi, Valentina D’Amaro, Letizia Fornasieri, Giovanni Frangi, Massimo Giannoni, Alessandra Giovannoni, Raffaele Minotto, Tommaso Ottieri, Alessandro Papetti, Francesco Santosuosso, and Velasco Vitali. The exhibition also received excellent coverage in Chinese media, with over 252 million total views of media content related to the exhibition (across social media, news portals, video platforms, apps, aggregators, etc.) and 5.12 million interactions. To mark the conclusion of this event, the Rubin Gallery in Milan has invited the artists featured in the exhibition to display their work in its spaces from March 26 to April 17, 2026.
